A new professionally decorated ranch-style villa model is now open for viewing at the Villas at Fox Run in Plainfield. Known as the Abbey, this 1,718 square-foot home is set in a maintenance-free environment and has an attached two-car garage. The Abbey contains one master bedroom suite with private bath and an oversized quest suite with spacious bathroom as well, offering the perfect layout for single people with overnight guests, a multi-generational family, or a grandma and grandpa looking to downsize but still have room for the grand kids to stay overnight. While the Abbey model is listed at $209,990 and contains many upgrades, if a buyer wishes to make their own selections from scratch, they also have the opportunity to purchase a Phase Two Abbey that will be completed as early as November. As a homeowner, families have immediate access to the community’s private clubhouse which includes a fitness center, community gathering room, fireplace, billiards table, flat screen TV, full kitchen and outdoor heated swimming pool.
Every Abbey in the community, the decorated model included, display stone and fiber-cement-board siding, brick architectural accents, and appealing rooflines. Because of unique design, the Abbey is set within a four-unit building that is arranged in a pinwheel format and only shares one common wall with its neighbor, thus maximizing privacy between the homeowners. As a result of clever planning and design, the building looks like a large, luxury single-family home when viewed from any angle.
The decorated Abbey model showcases the customization possibilities afforded to each buyer, and highlights the impact of upgraded amenities such as 5” hardwood flooring, beveled edge counter tops, Merillat maple cabinetry and stainless steel appliances. Standard cathedral ceilings throughout the home create an aura of architectural sophistication. A large living room features French doors leading to a sun-filled four-season room that is included in the price of the home for a limited time. The large master bedroom also features a spacious walk-in closet and a private master bath that exhibits a large vanity area and an oversized shower with built-in seat. Immediately adjacent to the impressive living room is the dining room and kitchen, both of which feature a cathedral ceiling, thus enhancing the feeling of spaciousness between these rooms. In regards to comfort and convenience, the Abbey, as well as all other Epcon homes, feature central air conditioning, energy-efficient gas forced air heating, a quick recovery 50-gallon water heater, and all rooms are pre-wired for cable television and telephones.
Presently there are only two Abbey homes and a Portico model remaining for sale in Fox Run’s first phase of development. These three remaining properties represent the last homes available for quick delivery until more are completed in Phase 2 this Fall. All three homes contain various luxury upgrades and contain many incentives for buyers. Those wanting to take tours are encouraged to set up an appointment or drop by during business hours.
Within the Villas at Fox Run, Epcon provides more than a beautiful ranch-style home, it also provides a great social environment for homeowners to cultivate new friendships. The well appointed clubhouse’s aforementioned amenities provide the ideal setting for socializing with new neighbors. The community hosts many events such as continental breakfasts, luaus, home parades and movie nights. Several clubs exist between the homeowners as well, including a book club, walking club, garden club and others.
To enhance the beauty of the community, an extensive amount of flowers, bushes, shrubs, trees and grass surround each building. This landscaping is extremely vital for the residents, as it absorbs sound, creates beautiful vistas, attracts birds and butterflies, and allows rainwater to be absorbed into the ground. All of these ingredients blend together to create the perfect atmosphere to live within.
